LIVEFEED IS A GALWAY 2020 EUROPEAN CAPITAL OF CULTURE PROJECT FOR YOUNG PEOPLE (AGED 13 – 18) INTERESTED IN MUSIC PERFORMANCE, PRODUCTION AND PROMOTION.

Livefeed aims to grow a culture of youth music in Galway and empower young people to pursue interests in live performance, event production and music promotion. The project provides new opportunities for young people to perform and enjoy live music in safe, alcohol-free environments through a special programme of live music events and workshops across Galway city and county.

Galway is the European Capital of Culture in 2020. As one of the largest cultural events in the world, Galway 2020 promises to deliver a year of thrilling, life-enhancing experiences through culture and the arts. The exciting pan-European programme for the year will see events in unexpected venues and locations throughout the region on the islands, in remote villages, in fields, mountains and on beaches. From food, music, dance, literature and visual arts to poetry, theatre, sport and large scale spectacle, everyone will get the opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Eoin is a songwriter, music producer and sound engineer with over ten years experience as a project worker with Foroige in the Eastside Youth Service.

Alison is a freelance videographer, editor and founder of AMW Visual. Her passion for visual media and her creative, thoughtful approach leads her to capture the essence of each project she works on.

jay burke sound engineering

Jay is a sound engineer, musician, promoter and producer who is passionate about supporting local artists. He runs his own studio and media production suite and is chief sound & lighting technician in The Loft.

keeva o'shea sound engineering

Keeva is a freelance sound engineer who has worked on Ireland’s biggest festival stages, such as Electric Picnic, Longitude and Beatyard with artists like Lana Del Rey, The Jacksons, The Wailers and Orbital.
